This page is dedicated to the annual pilgrimage to the frozen tundra of Callander Bay, Ontario. Original trip started in 1999 and the core group and our always gracious hosts Cara Lee and Garnet Hughes of South Shore Camping and Ice Condos have been rocking the ice ever since!
Don’t knock it until you try it! Ice fishing in 8 man heated cabins equipped with BBQs, Stoves, TVs and heated shitters can’t be beat. Mix in a little ice bocci, a propane potato gun and a few “refreshments” (must stay hydrated) and it equals many of the best on land fishing camps around.
